What is Laser Tattoo Removal

Spectrum laser Tattoo Removal uses high-energy laser pulses delivered in extremely short bursts to target tattoo pigment without “peeling” the surface of the skin. That rapid pulse creates a photoacoustic effect—basically, it shatters ink into much smaller particles—so your immune system can gradually clear the pigment over time. Because tattoos vary by ink color, depth, and density, treatments are customized (often using different wavelengths for different colors) and done in a series, with sessions spaced out to allow the skin to recover and the body to do the clearing. The goal is steady fading with each visit while keeping the focus on skin safety and predictable healing.

Your overall aesthetic goals and the condition of your skin will determine the number of recommended treatments. If you’re seeking to lift unwanted pigment, you may need a few Spectrum IPL sessions about a month apart to achieve ideal results
