Am I a candidate for Filler?
Fillers are not recommended for patients with the following:
•Patients under the age of 18
•Patients with a vacation or special event within 1 week after treatment
•Hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid fillers or lidocaine
•Heightened immune responses to common allergens, especially inhaled
allergens and food allergens (atopy)
•Active infection and the injection site including: herpes cold sores, acne cysts,
abscess', skin infections or cellulitis
•Are under concomitant anticoagulant therapy, antiplatelet therapy, or have a
history of bleeding disorders, clotting disorders such as hemophilia or
connective tissue disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus
•Known allergy to gram-positive bacterial proteins
•Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding
•Patients who have undergone other procedures like laser resurfacing,
chemical peels, microneedling within 2 weeks
